A garden on the Isle of Man
From its wonderful hilltop setting in Maughold on the Isle of Man, Stephanie and Roger Corkill defied the somewhat windy location to create a beautiful space for themselves and the local wildlife. The house is surrounded by a cottage garden full of colour with nectar rich plants, along with a productive vegetable patch. An additional two acres of garden are planted with shrubs and trees, enabling the wanderer to appreciate the stunning southerly views. Beyond this, the two far meadows are left wild for the orchids, bluebells and hare to thrive in peace.
